Casa de Las Celtas B&B - Rivas, near San Isidro

Life on the patio - birds, bats, bugs and bountiful beauty

Our living area outdoors - eating, toast, coffee, fridge, sink, bathroom, with hibiscus, hummingbirds and humidity.

A stately champion of a flower - the noble hibiscus.

A strange prehistoric succulent. Little tiny yellow flowers on sides of pulpy pine cone like fleshy blob. Each 6-8 inches long. Grow from ground.

View of the Cordillera de Talamanca mountain range in early morning (no clouds) from our bed and breakfast patio. This range forms the northwest-southeast trending volcanic backbone of CR and includes Chirripo, the highest peak in CR (3,820 m; 12,533 feet).
