Bus to San Isidro. 2 hr trip from San Ramon to San Jose, 3 hr trip to San Isidro. In middle in high volcanic terrain, a bathroom and snack break - just when you need it!
Intercity buses are spacious, with lots of luggage space. Cost for 3 hr, 150 km trip is about Cdn$2.85.
